
Meals
All room prices include a full breakfast served from 8 to 9 am.
Dietary requirements are honored, but must be explained ahead of
meals. Beyond breakfast, evening meals can be prepared upon request.


Afternoon Tea
On request, tea and baked goods are found in the Victorian tea
room.

Amenities
Rooms contain bottled water, lavender scented linens, an ice bucket
and cork screw, a selection of toiletries, books and magazines,
and extra quilts & blankets.

3 full bathrooms are available. All are new and one of them includes
a whirlpool tub. Plush towels are provided.
The rear of the house has a half acre of gardens which we encourage
guests to use.

Accommodations
Susan B. Anthony Room (Full Size) $90
The room is dedicated to the renowned crusader for women's suffrage,
whose home in her formative years is in nearby Battenville. This
cozy, red, white and blue room is decorated with an original quilt
of the same colors. The early 19th-century bed and chest blend with
other items she might have used.

Harriet Fairchild (Queen Size)
$100
The room is dedicated to the mistress of the house, who married
attorney Marinus Fairchild in 1836. Subtle gray and blue with a
sprinkle of peach provide a relaxing combination. The 4-posted bed
with netted canopy, complement a .c 1830 grained chest. The most

Grandma Moses (Queen Size,
sleeps 3 or more) $125
The room is dedicated to Anna Mary Robertson Moses, America's most
famous 20th-century folk painter, who lived nearby in Eagle Bridge.
Bright yellows with blue stencils create a fresh country look for
this room. Its spacious walls contain a Moses print of a Hoosic

Seneca Ray Stoddard (King
Size or Two Twin Bed, Private Bath) $145
The room is dedicated to the famed photographer of the Adirondacks,
who was also a cartographer, writer, poet, artist, traveler and
lecturer. The tan walls are stenciled with pine boughs, reminding
one of the scent and beauty of the Adirondacks. The furniture is
mission style, the carpeting and bedding bright red and green -

Views of the common areas:

The library, 4000 books from which to enjoy.

"The Pub" is a place for quests to gather in, play a game
or enjoy a movie. The stone and redware collection seen on the hutch
is one of many; others include glassware, furniture and quilts.

The spiral staircase is a rare architectural wonder.
